Gary Taylor

Gary Taylor currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the Child Welfare League of America, focusing on child welfare consultation, strategic planning, and executive coaching. As the Chief Executive Officer of Gary Taylor Consulting, LLC, Gary leverages 40 years of experience in child welfare and health and human services to enhance the performance of individuals, leaders, and organizations through coaching and consulting. In addition, Gary holds multiple roles at California State University, Fullerton, including Community Advisory Board Member and Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work. Previous positions include Project Associate at the Child & Family Policy Institute of California, Post Adoption Mediator for Consortium For Children, and Consultant for Futures Without Violence. Gary's background includes leadership as the Director of Child Welfare at the Orange County Social Services Agency. Education credentials include a Master’s Degree in Human Services/Counseling from Murray State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospital Administration from Western Kentucky University, along with an Administrators Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Cypress College.
