Cwmbran RFC was established in 1880 the year that the Welsh Rugby Union was formed. It is one of the largest clubs in South Wales and maintains the traditional community based values. These values have enabled the development of local talent to support the continued growth of the club.

Cwmbran RFC field teams at senior, youth and at every recognised mini and junior age group which demonstrates a rare commitment to inclusive development of the sport across the age range and throughout the local community.
