Dr. Marc Bednarz

Dr. Marc Bednarz is an accomplished professional in the fields of hydrogen technology and green energy solutions, currently serving as the Director of Hydrogen & Derivatives at CWP Global since January 2023. Previously, Dr. Bednarz held leadership roles at Munich Re from 2016 to December 2022, including Technology Lead and Head of Green Tech Solutions APAC, where innovative insurance solutions for renewable energy projects were developed. As the Founder and Managing Director of Ceragen GmbH, a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Society, Dr. Bednarz focused on commercialization strategies for technology projects while also serving as a freelance consultant in battery and fuel cell technologies from 2002 to 2013. Other notable positions include Managing Director at Elcore GmbH and Vice President of Fuel Cell Development at MTU Onsite Energy, where expertise in stationary fuel cell systems and gas process technologies was demonstrated. Dr. Bednarz co-founded AAC Analytik für Anorganische Chemie, specializing in electroanalytical equipment, and earned a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Hamburg.
