Bruce Ramsay

Bruce Ramsay has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bruce is currently the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Cyacomb, a position they assumed in January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Cyacomb from March 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Cyacomb, Bruce worked at Cyan Forensics as the Chief Technology Officer for a period of seven years, from April 2015 to March 2022.

Bruce also had an academic career, holding positions at Edinburgh Napier University. Bruce served as a Lecturer from September 2016 to January 2020 and as a Senior Research Fellow from March 2014 to September 2016.

Prior to their academic ventures, Bruce worked as a Forensic Computer Analyst at Lothian and Borders Police for nearly nine years, from May 2005 to February 2014.

Bruce began their professional journey as a Software Person at Accuscene Corporation Ltd in June 2002, where they stayed until May 2005.

Bruce started their career as a Senior Development Engineer at Agilent Technologies, where they worked from July 1996 to May 2001.

Bruce Ramsay has a bachelor's degree in Computer and Electronic Systems from the University of Strathclyde, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Bruce also holds a master's degree in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University, which they completed between 2011 and 2013.
