Vice President of Strategy at Cybeats Technologies

Chris Blask has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In their most recent role, they serve as the Vice President of Strategy at Cybeats since 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded and became the CEO of Augaterra in November 2021.

From 2012, Chris served as the Chair of the Industrial Control System Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ICS-ISAC), where they focused on cybersecurity for industrial control systems. In 2011, they were a Board Member of the Australian Wind Energy Institute, providing advisory and consulting services to the clean energy generation industry.

Chris also worked at Empresas Públicas de Medellín - EPM as an Operational Technology Architect from 2018 to 2021, focusing on developing protective programs for infrastructure. Chris also held roles at Unisys as the Executive Director of the Marine Living Research Center from 2019 to 2021, and as the Global Director of Applied Innovation from 2016 to 2021.

Additionally, Chris served as the Director of the Cyberspace Research Institute at Webster University from 2015 to 2021, leading the Knowledge Sharing Directorate. Before that, they were a Senior Partner at Fearless Security from 2014 to 2016, providing expertise to organizations to enhance their security postures.

Prior to that, Chris founded and served as the CEO of ICS Cybersecurity, Inc. from 2011 to 2015, offering cybersecurity solutions for industrial control systems. Chris also held the position of Vice-Chair of the OpenSG Security Conformity Group at UCAIUG from 2011 to 2014, where they coordinated the development of product certifications for Smart Grid applications.

Throughout their career, Chris has been involved in various industries such as cybersecurity, renewable energy, academia, and consulting, demonstrating their expertise and versatility in these fields.

Chris Blask attended Greenville Technical College from 1987 to 1989, where they pursued an Incomplete AA/AS degree in Technical Sciences/Human Arts.
