Orr Nir

Orr Nir has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Orr began their career as a Senior Infrastructure Security Architect at LOGIC in 2009 and later worked as a Senior Cyber Consultant at Comsec from 2011 to 2013. Orr then joined the Ministry of Health Israel as a Senior Cyber Consultant from 2013 to 2014.

From 2014 to 2018, Orr worked at Deloitte in various roles including Senior Cyber Expert, Cyber Architect, and Ethical Hacker. During this time, they also served as a Cyber Specialist at Amtrak and as a Senior Cyber and Cloud Architect at Papa Murphy's.

In 2018, Orr joined EY as the Head of Web Application Penetration Testing and CHFI, and also worked as a Chief Cyber and OT Security Architect at MassDOT.

From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Chief System and Security Architect at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

In 2020, Orr joined KPMG Israel as the Head of Cyber Security and Cloud Architecture. During this time, they were also the Chief Cyber Security and Cloud Architect at Harman International.

In 2022, Orr joined CHEQ as the Chief Information Security Officer and Global Director Cyber Security, DPO, CPO. Orr was responsible for managing all aspects of cyber security, including SSDLC, GRC, and regulatory compliance.

In 2023, Orr joined BlackSwan Technologies as the Global Director Cyber Security, CISO, Head of FinOPS, DPO, and Head of CloudOPS. Orr was responsible for managing all cyber security aspects of the company, including secure code practices, privacy-related issues, and cloud operations.

Currently, Orr is working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Cybecs Security Solutions.

Orr Nir attended Tel Aviv University from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Orr later pursued a Master's degree at Tel Aviv University, starting in 2000. Additionally, Orr has obtained various certifications, including Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) from EC-Council in January 2017, AWS Certified Solution Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner Credential (ACPM) from EC-Council, CSWAE (Certified Secure Web Application Engineer) from EC-Council, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, Chartered Engineer (cEng) from the Engineering Council, Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC) from Atlassian, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) from Microsoft, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) from Microsoft, and NodeJS Security Expert from EC-Council.
