Idan Cohen

Idan Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Idan is currently the SecOps & Cloud Security Team Leader at Cyberbit, where they manage all cloud security, DevOps, and SecOps-related content development. Idan is responsible for creating and developing defensive and offensive security training on cloud infrastructure and securing the company's cloud infrastructure platforms.

Prior to their current role, Idan was the Information Security Team Leader at Integrity software (Israel), where they managed employees' day-to-day work and handled technical and sales-related issues. Idan also managed a portfolio of information security products.

Before that, Idan worked as a Senior Technical Project Manager at EDP Group Israel, leading big projects in the private and government sectors. Idan provided support to tier 2 technicians, installed IT systems for clients, and migrated clients to the company's private cloud.

Idan's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Information Security Integrator at Oriental Computer Systems, where they provided Information Security services to SMBs and migrated businesses to Azure/365. Idan also served as the Head of Information Technology at Miltel Communications, where they managed the entire IT infrastructure and worked closely with the Dev team.

Idan's career started in the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), where they served as a Computer and Network Team Leader.

Overall, Idan has showcased expertise in cloud security, information security management, technical project management, and IT infrastructure management throughout their career.

Idan Cohen pursued their education in the field of computer and information systems security/information assurance. Idan first attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a degree as an Information Security Expert. In 2020, they enrolled at Bar-Ilan University and completed a program to become a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO).

In addition to their formal education, Idan Cohen also obtained certifications to further their knowledge and expertise. Idan achieved the MCSE 2012 certification in network and system administration from Microsoft, as well as the MCP certification in the same field.

Idan Cohen's commitment to professional development is evident through their Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA - N) certification, which they obtained from Citrix in October 2020.
