Wilson Wei is the co-founder and CEO of CyberConnect. Wilson has also served as an investor, general manager, and chairman for various companies including i-Space, BitTorrent, Inc., YOOZ, and DLive.
Wilson got their start in the private space industry with i-Space as an investor in 2020. i-Space is a leading Chinese private space launch company based in Beijing. As of July 2019, i-Space has successfully launched the Hyperbola-1S and Hyberbola-1Z rockets into space on a suborbital flight and reached low Earth orbit with Hyperbola-1.
In January 2020, Wilson became the general manager of interactive entertainment at BitTorrent, Inc. BitTorrent is a communication protocol for peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) that is used to distribute high volumes of data over the internet. In early 2020, DLive was acquired by BitTorrent.
Wilson was also an early investor in YOOZ, one of the top three electronic cigarette brands in China. YOOZ is already a unicorn startup company.
From July 2017 to December 2019, Wilson served as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Lino Network. Lino is a decentralized live streaming platform for gamers and crypto fans.
Wilson Wei completed a Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
