Alexander Orlov is an experienced professional who has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Alexander started their career in 2006 as the Head of PMI Office at a bank with a retail portfolio of 30 billion USD. In this role, they successfully implemented five large PMI projects, leading to their promotion from CEO-5 to CEO-3 level.

In 2018, Orlov joined a Forbes global 500 bank as Deputy Head of Retail Business Development. Alexander held this position for a few months before moving to an insurance company with 2 billion USD retail insurance assets, where they became the Head of Project Management and Process Optimization (CEO-2). Alexander stayed in this role until 2019.

In 2019, Orlov joined a financial group with 40 billion USD working assets as the Head of Business Transformation (Chief Transformation Officer) in the strategy department (CEO-2). In this role, they were responsible for project management, post-merger integration, innovations management, lean process optimization, and agile enterprise transformation. Alexander led key cross-functional strategic initiatives to enable value creation.

Most recently, as of February 2023, Orlov is the Head of Strategy at cyber•Fund. Further details about this role are not provided.

Alexander Orlov completed their Master's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management at Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics from 2003-2008. In 2016, they attended The Wharton School for an Executive Development Program (EDP) in Business Administration and Management. Alexander further pursued an Advanced Management Program at Yale School of Management in 2021. In 2023, Alexander obtained a GMBA degree specializing in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Reichman University. Alexander also obtained certifications in Introduction to digital currencies from the Institute for the Future (IFF) in 2023 and Blockchain Basics from The State University of New York in 2022. Additionally, they completed the Accelerated Management Program from Yale School of Management Executive Education in 2021 and Organizational Design for Digital Transformation from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020. Alexander also participated in other educational programs but the specific months of completion were not provided.
