Lucas Lu

Lucas Lu has worked in the technology industry since 2003. Lucas began their career as a co-founder of Diff-Tech, followed by a role as CTO at www.bokee.com in 2004. In 2006, they became CTO at Net-Plus, before joining Alibaba.com in 2007 as Head of Wireless BU of taobao and Sr. Director of R&D. In 2010, they took on the role of General Manager at Taobao Marketplace, followed by CTO at LightInTheBox in 2011. In 2014, they were appointed CEO of 5Miles LLC and in 2017, they founded CyberMiles. Most recently, in 2022, Lucas Lu became Chief Executive Officer at ByteTrade.

Lucas Lu received their BS in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1996 and their PHD in Physics from Southern Methodist University in 2005.
