Michael D.

Michael D. has over 30 years of experience in the technology field. Michael began their career in 1989 as a Programmer and System Administrator at Compter Engineering Associates, where they designed and developed an automated system for television newsrooms and provided technical support to TV stations worldwide. In 1994, they moved to CMSI as a Software Engineer, where they also managed system engineering staff. In 1999, they joined Cidera (formerly Skycache) as a Software Engineer. In 2001, they worked as a Consultant at Ajilon. In 2002, they became a Software Engineer/Network Engineer at LG-TEK (formerly LinguaLISTek), where they managed a high-security network for a customer and was the lead engineer for a project to add localization to a software product. In 2003, they joined General Dynamics AIS as a Sr Software Lead Engineer, where they were responsible for software development and reverse engineering tasks. Finally, in 2010, they became a Sr Security Engineer at CyberPoint International, where they conducted penetration testing and security assessments for customer networks, assisted customers in remediation efforts, and provided initial input on requirements for a SOC and managed setup of SEIM systems (Qradar, Splunk). Michael was later promoted to Technical Director, where they developed tools on all major platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, MacOS) and embedded systems, and provided technical leadership for about 20 staff members.
