Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently employed by SMART Technologies since July 2010, focusing on developing collaborative solutions for interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as a firmware engineer at the same company, specializing in firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products. Chris also worked as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, where responsibilities included conducting labs and marking assessments. Prior experience includes working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
