CyberSec People is a specialist cybersecurity search firm built from inside the security community, not outside it.

We work with funded technology companies, from seed-stage startups making their first security hire to scale-ups and growth-stage firms building out full security functions. Our clients are founders, CISOs, and heads of security at companies where security is a product enabler, not a compliance checkbox.

We operate across seven core domains: product security, cloud and platform security, non-human identity and machine identity, detection and response engineering, offensive security and AI red teaming, GRC and security leadership. These reflect where the industry is heading, not where it has been.

The people we place are builders. They are running programs, breaking systems, and shipping security at companies that move fast. Most of them are not on job boards. We reach them through a decade of community involvement, from co-organising BSides and SecTalks events to running career villages at Black Hat and AISA CyberCon.

Founded in 2017 in Australia, we now work with companies across APAC and globally. Our approach is straightforward: deep domain knowledge, honest market advice, and a network built on trust rather than transactions.
