Idan Plotnik is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience in application security and cybersecurity. As Co-Founder and CEO of Apiiro since July 2019, Idan leads the development of a security platform adopted by over 15% of Fortune 500 companies utilizing patented Deep Code Analysis technology. Idan also serves as an Official Member of Forbes Technology Council, a Seed Investor at Vulcan Cyber, and a member at Cyberstarts. Previous roles include Director of Advanced Threat Analytics at Microsoft and founding Aorato, a UEBA pioneer acquired by Microsoft. Idan’s career began in the security consulting field, establishing companies such as Foreity and MSecurity, along with leadership experience in the Israel Defence Forces. Idan holds a degree in Software Practical Engineering from Amal Bet College.
