Devika Kalathil has had work experience in several companies in the field of GIS analysis and research. Devika started their professional career at Fugro Middle East as an intern in 2017 and again in 2018. Devika then joined GeoVigyan as a research intern in 2021. Currently, they are working as a GIS Analyst at CyberTech Systems and Software, Inc, where they started as a trainee earlier this year.
Devika Kalathil pursued their education in a chronological order. Devika completed their Master of Science in Applied Geology from Goa University from the years 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geology (Honours) from Hansraj College between 2016 and 2019. Devika'seducational journey began with completing their high school education in Science at Indian School Al Ghubra, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman from 2013 to 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Devika has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Devika obtained a GIS & ArcGIS Level 1 certification from Udemy in July 2021. In April 2020, they acquired the Basic Principles of Remote Sensing certification, which was awarded by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
