Ellen James

Ellen James is an accomplished professional in clinical development and research, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Development at Cybin Inc since November 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure at Small Pharma Ltd from December 2017 to October 2023, where Ellen held the positions of Director of Research and Development and Clinical Development Manager. Ellen also contributed to Trio Medicines Ltd from July 2014 to November 2017, progressing from Principal Scientist to Clinical Development Manager and Team Leader. Earlier, Ellen was a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London from January 2011 to June 2014, focusing on gene regulation of quorum sensing systems in Staphylococcus aureus. Ellen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and an MRes in Biochemical Research from Imperial College London, as well as a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
