Michael Requa

Michael Requa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering. Currently serving as a Program Manager at Microsoft since September 2017, Michael also works as a Solutions Engineer at Cycle Computing, LLC since January 2014, focusing on deploying applications to the cloud using Cycle's high-performance computing platform. Previously, Michael held the position of Associate Director of Bioinformatics at BioNano Genomics, Inc. from July 2009 to January 2014, contributing to advancements in single molecule DNA optical barcoding and noise modeling. Michael earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara between 2001 and 2006.
