Daniel John Young

Daniel John Young is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Delivery Manager at Cyclife since July 2023, where responsibility includes leading engineering delivery capability in the UK. Prior to this, Daniel held the position of Senior Project Engineering Manager, managing projects in nuclear decommissioning. From June 2012 to June 2023, Daniel was with EDF (UK), overseeing the £2 billion Conventional Island programme for Sizewell C as the Engineering & Delivery Manager, leading a team through all project phases, and previously contributing as the Engineering Lead and Electrical Engineer on the Sizewell C and Hinkley Point C projects, respectively. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Transport for London, overseeing highway electrical installations. Daniel holds an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London and an MSc in Power Distribution Engineering from Newcastle University, along with further study at Télécom Paris.
