Julien Syx

Julien Syx has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Julien started their career at Novactive as a System Administrator, where they managed the infrastructure of the hosting department, including firewall, load balancers, Apache servers, and MySQL servers. Julien also optimized server configurations to meet the needs of web applications.

After that, Julien joined Stockho SI as a Technical Lead and System Engineer. In this role, they managed an E-Commerce platform for websites with high traffic and was responsible for security management, including firewall, VLAN, and reverse proxy. Julien also led CRM development for internal use and a web app for a ticketing system.

Following Stockho SI, Julien worked at BSO Network Solutions as a System Engineer - Level 2. Julien then joined eNovance as a DevOps, where they focused on DevOps practices and worked on various tasks related to infrastructure and automation.

Julien then joined Red Hat as a Senior Cloud Consultant, where they provided consulting services for cloud implementations.

Currently, Julien is working at Cycloid - Platform Engineering as a Product Lead, where they are responsible for leading the product development and innovation.

Overall, Julien has gained significant experience in system administration, cloud consulting, and product management throughout their career.

Julien Syx obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from EPITECH - European Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained the following certifications:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in March 2017.

- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services in March 2016.
