Dan Amiga is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity and investment. Currently serving as Partner at Picture Capital and Co-Founder & CTO at Island, Dan emphasizes the need for innovative design in cybersecurity to combat rising costs and complexity. Dan holds a prominent role as a Founding Investor and Board Member at several companies, including Cycode and build.security, which has been acquired by Elastic. Involvement as a Founding Investor spans multiple ventures such as Axis Security and ScaleOps, while participation in the Cyberstarts venture capital firm demonstrates a commitment to supporting emerging cybersecurity entrepreneurs. Educated with a BA in Computer Science from Reichman University and an MA in Business Law from Bar-Ilan University, Dan also contributes to the Forbes Technology Council as an official member and contributor.
