Andreas Symeonidis

Head of Research at Cyclopt

Andreas Symeonidis has held a variety of roles in the academic and research fields. Andreas began their career in 2000 as a Faculty Affiliate at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas. In 2007, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. From 2008 to 2017, they were employed at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where they served as a Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer. In 2010, they began working for the European Commission as a Proposal Evaluator and ICT Project Reviewer. In 2017, they joined Cyclopt as the Head of Research. Finally, they were a Project Developer for the Agent Academy project from 2001 to 2017.

Andreas Symeonidis obtained a PhD in Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2000 and 2004. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the same university between 1994 and 1999. Andreas also holds an ISO 9001:2008 - Internal Quality Assurance Manager certification.
