Derek Begue

Derek Begue is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in leadership and financial management. Starting at Verizon Wireless as a part-time customer service representative, Derek quickly rose through the ranks to Solutions Manager, focusing on employee development and sales targets. Transitioning to Grant Thornton LLP, Derek held the position of Audit Senior Associate, leading financial statement audits for both private and public clients, including SOX 404 audits. At LyondellBasell, Derek served in multiple roles, culminating as Sr. Manager II in Manufacturing Controlling & Analysis and Director of Business Finance, where responsibilities included financial reporting and Hyperion administration. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Cyclyx, Derek's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from The University of Akron, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
