Brad Smith's work experience began at Google in their ADSENSE online advertising tech team. From 2007-2012, Brad worked as a Consultant at McAfee in their Foundstone Professional Services division. Following this, from 2010-2012, Brad served as a Principal Consultant at Intel Corporation in their Foundstone, Intel Security division. In 2012, Brad joined Veracode and held the position of Sr. Principal, Security Program Manager until 2021. During his time at Veracode, he also served as the Head of Partner Success from 2021-2023 and then was Vice President of Partner Success at Smart Energy Water in 2023. He is currently part of the technical Customer Success team at Cycode, the Complete ASPM platform. Additionally, in 2017, he briefly worked at Broadcom CA Technologies as a Sr. Principal Security Program Manager for their Veracode division.
Brad Smith has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business. Brad also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science (CIS) from The Master's University and a Master of Science in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
