Shuning Wu

Shuning Wu is a data science lead with over twenty years of experience in data management, machine learning, and operations research. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at Cyderes, they previously held leadership positions at Lucidum, Nordstrom, and Splunk, where they designed advanced machine learning applications and contributed significantly to security innovations. Shuning earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Iowa State University after completing a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree at Tsinghua University. Their expertise includes statistical modeling, optimization, and fraud detection, delivering impactful solutions across various industries.
