Charles Amanor

Charles Amanor is a seasoned professional in the fields of geology and geographic information systems. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Technician at Cyient since June 2023, Charles has previously worked as a Cyber Security Analyst at Masterschool from March 2023 to February 2024. With extensive experience at the Ghana Geological Survey Authority from December 2016 to May 2023, roles included Geologist and Assistant Geologist, where responsibilities involved conducting geological fieldwork and writing reports to support mineral exploration and national development initiatives. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Geotechnical Engineer at Sterling Engineers, focusing on site investigations and geotechnical drilling, and a year as a Junior Geologist at the Ghana Geological Survey Authority. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, and has furthered education at Masterschool in 2023. Education also includes attendance at St. Thomas Aquinas High School from 2003 to 2006.
