Jan Malmsten

Jan Malmsten is currently the Director & Global Electrical Head of Plant Engineering at Cyient Energy Business Unit, where they lead the Global Electrical Discipline and support sales initiatives in renewable power and carbon capture. Previously, Jan held the position of Head of Regional Distribution Grid at Oy Herrfors Ab and has extensive experience at ABB in various management roles across engineering and operations in the energy sector. Jan earned an MBA from the University of Vaasa and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Vasa Tekniska Läroanstalt. With a strong background in building functional teams and delivering customer projects globally, Jan demonstrates expertise in engineering, operations, and renewable energy technology.
