Theresa Bauer

Theresa Bauer is a Junior ESG Manager at cylib since May 2023, where responsibilities include supporting sustainable development through battery recycling laboratory experiments, active participation in the ESG task force, and the implementation of measurable ESG goals. Academic work includes a master's thesis analyzing the ecological impacts of battery recycling processes compared to primary resource extraction. Previous experience comprises roles as a research assistant focused on circular economy and sustainable value creation at the Lehrstuhl Für Operations Management, as well as positions in cost engineering and technology at BMW Group. Theresa also completed a bachelor's thesis on flotation graphite purification in lithium-ion battery recycling at IME Process Metallurgy and was involved in practical applications at the Institute for Plastics Processing at RWTH Aachen University. Education includes a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on materials and process engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
