Stephen Moore is a Senior Software Engineer at Cylite, specializing in software development for a novel Hyperparallel Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) ophthalmological imaging system since June 2020. Concurrently, Stephen serves as a lecturer at the University of Melbourne, teaching graduate-level courses in Applied High Performance Computing, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Advanced Computational Mechanics while also acting as a PhD supervisor. Prior to these roles, Stephen was a Research Staff Member at IBM, where responsibilities included leading technical designs and overseeing research projects, notably in adaptive optics. Stephen's academic journey includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree, both obtained from the University of Canterbury. A previous postdoctoral fellowship involved designing a cross-platform medical image segmentation application.
