Yiwei Hu is an experienced Electronics Engineer with a strong background in schematic and PCB design, product development from concept to mass production, and support for in-house systems. Currently employed at Cylite since October 2020, Yiwei focuses on optimizing designs for manufacture. Previous roles include Electronics Engineer at Kinetic Technology International PTY Ltd, where Yiwei delivered the Personal Locator Beacon SAG2N, and Design Engineer at Tait Communications, specializing in communication systems. Academic experience includes tutoring undergraduates at the University of Canterbury and conducting research at the New Zealand ICT Innovation Institute.
