Nick Mares

Nick Mares has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Nick started their career as a Research Assistant at the Woodrow Wilson Department of Politics at the University of Virginia in 2015, where they worked until August 2016. In 2017, they continued their research work as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia School of Law from May to September. After that, they joined the Federal Trade Commission as an Honors Paralegal in June 2018 and stayed until December 2019. Moving into the tech industry, Nick worked as a Data Analyst at SHOPLINE from January to September 2021. Currently, they hold two roles at Cyndx. Firstly, as a Data Analyst starting in November 2021 until July 2022, and secondly, as a Data Engineer since July 2022.

Nick Mares has a diverse education history. In 2014, they attended the University of Virginia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Public Policy & Leadership and Foreign Affairs. Nick completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. In 2020, Nick briefly studied at the National Taiwan Normal University, focusing on Chinese studies. Currently, they are enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology and is expected to complete their Master of Science degree in Analytics in 2022.
