Simon Weber is currently a doctoral student at ETH Zürich, where they focus on research at the intersection of computer science and mathematics, specifically in combinatorial optimization, discrete mathematics, computational geometry, computational complexity, and topology. With prior experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2019, Simon has developed a strong academic foundation, culminating in a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science, both earned with distinction. After completing their PhD, Simon will work as a cryptography specialist at CyOne Security AG, starting in 2025.
