Alexia Sanchez has extensive work experience in the education and technology industry. From October 2018 to the present, she has worked as the US & Canada EdTech Director & Solutions Architect at Cypher Learning. Prior to this role, Alexia held the position of Academic Coordinator & LMS Administrator at Colegio México Americano de Cuernavaca from July 2011 to October 2018. In this role, she was responsible for the annual strategic plan and continuous improvement projects and led the implementation of the LMS platform. Alexia also managed the Language Department for preschool, primary, and secondary grades. Additionally, she worked as the Director of Student Affairs & LMS Administrator at Study & Work México High School from December 2012 to August 2016. In this role, she managed the LMS platform, and handled direct communication and procedures with the Mexican Education Authority. Alexia also oversaw the admissions and enrollment process in the company's LMS and the governmental educational management system.
Alexia Sanchez completed their Maestría in Gestion de centros educativos from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte from 2014 to 2016. Alexia also obtained a Diplomatura in Gestion de habilidades directivas from the same institution in 2016. Prior to that, in 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Diplomatura in Manage Mentor from Harvard Business School. Earlier in their education, from 2004 to 2009, they completed their Ingeniería Industrial para la Dirección degree from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Sur.
Additionally, Alexia obtained the Teacher's Knowledge Test Band 4, Modules 1, 2, and 3 certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in March 2012. More recently, in April 2021, they became a Google Certified Educator Level 1 from Google for Education.
