Mathieu Bailly

Mathieu Bailly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mathieu co-founded and serves as the Director of CYSAT since July 2020. Additionally, they hold the position of Shareholder at Team for the Planet starting from December 2021. In their previous roles, Mathieu worked as the VP Space at CYSEC from May 2019, where they focused on developing and growing the business unit related to space applications. Prior to that, they served as a Business Development & Sales Engineer at Almatech, where they managed proposal/bid management, sales pipeline, and identified new opportunities. Mathieu also worked as an Innovation Project Manager at Constellium and a Research & Teaching Assistant at Queen's University.

Mathieu Bailly started their education journey in 2001, attending the French "Classes Préparatoires" until 2004. During this time, no degree or field of study is specified. Mathieu then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Materials Science at Grenoble INP - UGA from 2004 to 2007. Finally, they attended Queen's University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science.
