Serdar Uckun has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Serdar is currently the Founder and CTO at Novity, where they lead the development of a predictive maintenance solution. As the CTO, they are responsible for product vision, IoT solution architecture design, and overseeing all technical development.

Serdar Uckun has an extensive education history. Serdar first pursued their undergraduate degree in Medicine at Ege University from 1978 to 1984. After completing their MD, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they attended Vanderbilt University from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained their PhD in Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, they pursued another PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University, although the exact dates for this degree are unspecified. Finally, they pursued postdoctoral studies in Computer Science at Stanford University from 1992 to 1994.
