Renos Melas

Renos Melas has extensive experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of IT, Business Intelligence and Data Management at CYTA since September 1992. In this role, Renos oversees Cyta's Business Intelligence department, focusing on data warehousing and analytics. Previously, Renos held the position of Head of Information Technology Infrastructure, where responsibilities included the design and maintenance of IT infrastructure. Earlier roles at CYTA included various telecommunications engineering positions, with a focus on product development, fixed telecom services, and network planning. Renos began his career as a Computer Science Lecturer at Phillips College in Cyprus. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management and two degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
