Ben Trigg

Ben Trigg has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ben started their career as a BSCB Project Student at the University of Exeter, where they screened Drosophila melanogaster mutants for defects in mitosis and cytokinesis. Following this, they worked as a Project Student at the University of Oxford, investigating the biophysical interaction between hydrophobic/hydrophilic interfaces and seeding in amyloid systems.

In 2015, Ben joined the Cambridge Consulting Network as a Junior Consultant, where they contributed to market research and provided advice to a biotech start-up. Ben also worked at WaterScope UK Limited as part of the research and development team, conducting market research and securing funding for the not-for-profit start-up. Ben explored various applications of their microscope, including malaria and TB diagnostics.

From 2017 to 2021, Ben worked at Metaswitch Networks as a Scrum Master and Software Engineer, playing a key role in agile project management and development. In 2021, they joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Scrum Master.
