Chris Freeman, Ed.D., serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Guardant Health, leading commercial initiatives for a range of biopsy-based tests in cancer care since June 2021. Previously, Chris held multiple leadership roles at Gilead Sciences, including Vice President of the HIV Business Unit, overseeing a $13B portfolio and launching key products such as Veklury and Descovy. Additional experience includes strategic marketing roles at Elan and Genentech, as well as service as a Captain in the U.S. Army. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
