Chris Freeman

Chris Freeman currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at Cyted Health, starting in October 2024. Previously, Freeman held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Guardant Health since June 2021, where responsibilities included leading commercial efforts for various cancer care tests. Prior to that, Freeman worked at Gilead Sciences from April 2017 to June 2021, first as Vice President, HIV Business Unit Head, managing a $13 billion business, and later as Vice President of HIV Treatment and PrEP Marketing. Earlier roles included Executive Director of HIV Marketing at Gilead, Director of Strategic Marketing & Alliance Management at Elan, and Group Manager of Oncology & Asthma Marketing at Genentech. Freeman holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Life Sciences from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master's degree in Human Resources from Central Michigan University.
