Christopher Humberston

Christopher Humberston has a diverse work experience in finance and auditing roles. Christopher is currently the VP of Finance at Cyted, a company focused on providing digital diagnostic infrastructure for disease detection. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Finance at Cyted and was responsible for the financial management of the company. Christopher also served as the Financial Controller at Cyted, where they utilized artificial intelligence and novel biomarkers to improve patient outcomes.

Before joining Cyted, Christopher worked at Grant Thornton UK LLP as a Corporate Finance Manager, where they played a key role in managing corporate finance activities. Christopher also worked as an Assistant Manager and an Executive in the Corporate Finance department during their tenure at Grant Thornton.

Christopher's experience in auditing comes from their time at Deloitte UK, where they held the position of Assistant Manager. Christopher was involved in managing audit teams for clients such as Arm Holdings plc, Xaar plc, and BUUK Infrastructure Ltd. Christopher also worked as a Senior Associate and an Associate at Deloitte, gaining expertise in testing complex balances, developing internal controls, and conducting audits for national and international clients.

Prior to their career in finance and auditing, Christopher worked as a Financial Assistant at the NHS and held various roles at Barnham Broom Hotel, including Front of House, Barman, and Cellar Administrator. Christopher also served as a Brand Ambassador at iMP.

Throughout their career, Christopher has demonstrated a strong understanding of financial management, auditing, and corporate finance. Christopher has a proven track record of driving financial success and improving business operations.

Christopher Humberston began their education at Neatherd High School, where they completed their GCSEs. Following this, they attended Wymondham College from 2007 to 2009, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree during this time. Subsequently, they enrolled at Newcastle University from 2010 to 2013 and earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Christopher obtained the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) from the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) in August 2017 and the PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) Accreditation from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board in January 2017.
