David Wright

David Wright has worked in various roles throughout their career. David is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Cyted since February 2022.

Prior to their current position, David worked at GeoSpock Ltd. from September 2015 to March 2022. During this time, they held multiple roles including Head of Technical Operations, Head of Data Management, and Lead Software Engineer (Analytics). As Head of Technical Operations, they played a crucial role in liaising with different teams and stakeholders, demonstrating their strong technical knowledge and understanding of customer requirements. As Lead Software Engineer, they developed a Data Science product, focusing on performance and extending its capabilities. Additionally, as a Software Engineer, they were responsible for developing features, code quality management, and technical recruitment.

David also has experience working at Siemens Industry Software as a Software Engineer from May 2011 to September 2015, where they focused on enterprise application development, algorithm optimization, release management, and mentoring.

Previously, they worked at Accountz.com Ltd as a Java Developer from August 2009 to May 2011, Orchid Cellmark as an Analyst Programmer from December 2008 to August 2009, EASA Software as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2007 to November 2008, and 1Spatial as a Software Engineer from 2004 to 2007.

David Wright completed their MA in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 1999. Following that, they pursued an MPhil in Speech and Language Processing from the same institution from 1999 to 2000.
