Ana Quartilho is a highly experienced biostatistician, currently serving as a Principal Biostatistician at Cytel since December 2022. Previously, Ana held the position of Senior Statistician at Phastar from February 2019 to November 2022, and prior to that was the Head of Statistics and a Senior Medical Statistician at the Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit at UCL from July 2017 to February 2019. Ana's earlier roles include Senior Medical Statistician at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and Medical Statistician at the Leeds Institute of Clinical Trials Research. Ana has extensive involvement in clinical trials, particularly in the Cancer Division, showcasing expertise in adaptive trial design through participation in the Myeloma XI trial, the world's largest pragmatic phase III randomised trial for newly diagnosed malignant myeloma. Academic credentials include a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Statistics from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lisbon.
