Leila Karimi

Leila Karimi, MD, DSc, PhD, is an epidemiologist and the Director of Real-World Evidence at Cytel, where they lead impactful global projects in Real-World Evidence (RWE). With over 20 years of experience, they have developed protocols and established strong partnerships across academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory bodies. Previously, they served as a scientific researcher at Erasmus MC and held positions at IQVIA, contributing to the fields of pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety. Leila is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in the management of patients with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, alongside other advanced degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
