Marcy Way

Marcy Way has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Marcy currently serves as the Director of Revenue Accounting at Cytel, where they are responsible for overseeing monthly accounting processes for worldwide revenues and managing a team of 11 analysts and accountants. Marcy partners with various departments to ensure revenue recognition compliance with ASC 606.

Prior to joining Cytel, Marcy worked at Nuance Communications for nearly 17 years. Marcy'sroles included Senior Finance Manager for the Diagnostic Business Unit, Senior Manager in Corporate Finance, Senior Manager in Business Process Design, and Manager of Revenue Accounting. In these positions, they demonstrated expertise in financial planning, process improvement, and revenue recognition.

Before Nuance Communications, Marcy held the position of Manager of Revenue Accounting at Jenzabar and Firepond. In these roles, they managed revenue accounting and accounts receivable processes.

Throughout their career, Marcy has consistently shown a strong understanding of US GAAP and proven leadership skills in managing teams and driving process improvements.
