John Carroll

John Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. John is currently working at CYTENA as the East Coast Regional Manager, a position they started in January 2023. Prior to this, John worked at CYTENA as a Sales Executive for the US and Canada from April 2022 to January 2023, and as a Sales Executive for the Central US from April 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining CYTENA, John worked at VMware. John first joined VMware in 2019 as a Territory Account Manager for CT, ME, NH, RI & VT, a role they held until April 2021. In addition, they completed a six-month training program called the Academy, which prepared him for their role at VMware. The Academy included six weeks of introductory training.

Prior to their time at VMware, John gained experience as an Inside Sales Intern in the Government, Education & Healthcare sector in 2018. John also worked at CabFare Technologies Inc as a Sales Ambassador from May 2017 to April 2018, where they interacted with taxi drivers and promoted the brand through events.

John also has entrepreneurial experience. In 2017, they co-founded Gourmet Advertising, a social media marketing company. This venture helped him understand the challenges of running a business and the importance of having a clear blueprint for success. Before Gourmet Advertising, John owned and operated Aisle9 Landscaping, a landscaping business they started in high school. The business grew significantly during their tenure, expanding to multiple towns and employing over twenty people. John ran the business from April 2012 to September 2016.

John Carroll completed their Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance with a minor in Economics from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. John attended the school from 2015 to 2019.
