Max Chen

Max Chen currently serves as the Process Development Support Manager at Cytiva, providing biologics process support to biotech customers and facilitating scale-up activities for various therapeutics. Prior to this role, Max held positions as a Business Development Manager at Pall Corporation, focusing on customer acquisition and technology consultation, and as a Senior Scientist at Umoja Biopharma, where efforts were directed towards lentiviral vector production for clinical research. Experience at Pall Corporation was further expanded through roles as a Senior Bioprocess Specialist and Senior R&D Scientist, contributing to drug processing solutions and new product development. Max's career began as a Scientist at Nanoshell Company, leading a research group and engaging in therapeutic device development. Max holds a PhD and MS in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Utah, along with a BS in Chemistry from National Chung Hsing University, and a professional certificate in Biotechnology Project Management from the University of Washington.
