Oliver Bachmann serves as the Senior Medical Director for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at Cytokinetics, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they were the Medical Director for Healthcare Germany at Merck Gruppe from 2021 to 2023 and held senior roles at Merck Healthcare Germany and Eli Lilly and Company from 2017 to 2020. Oliver began their medical career specializing in Internal Medicine and Diabetology at the University Hospital, Eberhard-Karls University from 1999 to 2006. They hold a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Essen and a PhD in Immunology, along with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
