Robert Blum

Robert Blum has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of Cytokinetics since 1998, where previous roles included President and EVP of Business Development. Blum also held the position of Chairman Of The Board at Gamida Cell Ltd. from September 2018 to March 2023. Earlier in their career, Blum was associated with COR Therapeutics as Director of Marketing and Business Development, and held various sales and marketing positions at Marion Laboratories, Inc. and Syntex Corporation. Robert Blum holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Human Biology and Economics from Stanford University.
