Dawn Benson

Dawn Benson has extensive experience in quality assurance and regulatory operations. Dawn is currently the VP and Head of Quality at CytomX Therapeutics, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Sr. Vice President, Head of Quality at Coherus BioSciences from December 2021 to April 2022. In their role at Coherus BioSciences, they also held the positions of Sr. Vice President in Quality Assurance, Validation and Combination Product from January 2021 to April 2022, and Vice President in Quality Systems, Validation and Medical Devices from December 2017 to January 2021.

Before joining Coherus BioSciences, Dawn was the Executive Director in Quality Systems, Validation, and Medical Devices at Coherus BioSciences (2015-2017) and the Senior Director in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Operations at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. (2011-2015). Dawn also worked as an Independent Consultant as a Senior Compliance Consultant from February 2011 to June 2011.

Prior to their consultant role, Dawn held various positions in quality assurance and quality control at Angiotech, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, VaxGen, and Nabi Biopharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2011.

Dawn Benson attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Additionally, from 1992 to 1996, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology at the same institution.
