Dylan Daniel

Dylan Daniel has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research. Dylan began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCSF in 1996 and worked there until 2002. Following that, they joined Genentech as a Scientist and worked there until 2008. At Genentech, they gained valuable experience in the field. In 2008, they moved to the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research as a Research Investigator III, where they contributed to various research projects until 2014.

Afterwards, Dylan co-founded Patronus Therapeutics Inc. in 2014, where they served as the Chief Science Officer. Dylan played a pivotal role in the company's scientific development until 2016. Subsequently, they joined MI Bioresearch as the Director of Scientific Development and was responsible for leading and overseeing scientific projects from 2016 to 2018.

Most recently, Dylan joined CytomX Therapeutics in 2018 and held several roles. Dylan started as the Director of Immuno-Oncology Research and served until 2020. During this time, they contributed to the development of immuno-oncology treatments. Following that, they were promoted to Senior Director of Oncology Research and played a key role in strategic research initiatives until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Oncology and Immuno-Oncology Research at CytomX Therapeutics. In this role, they oversee and leads the company's research efforts in these areas.

Dylan Daniel completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, from 1987 to 1991. Following this, Dylan pursued further education at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and Immunology. This degree was earned between the years 1991 and 1996.
