John Ferris

John Ferris has over 35 years of work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. John began their career in 1979 as an Export Sales Rep for Dunlop Industrial Hose Division. John then moved on to Eli Lilly and Company as a Medical Rep in 1982, followed by Astra Pharmaceuticals in 1983. In 1987, they became a Product Manager for Thackray Orthopaedic. John then joined DePuy Orthopaedics in 1990, initially as a Director of Marketing and then again in 1997. In 2001, they were appointed Managing Director Europe for MacroPore Biosurgery. John then moved to Cardiologic Limited in 2004 as Business Development Director, before taking on the role of Senior Director - European Business Development for Cytori Therapeutics in 2006, where they were responsible for sales, development of new market opportunities, and marketing strategy and support materials for the European market.

John Ferris attended Newcastle University from 1976 to 1979, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Language and Literature/Letters.
