Brandon Rizzo

Brandon Rizzo has several years of experience in the field of DevOps and virtualization. Brandon currently works as the Sr Director of DevOps at Cyware Labs since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Rackspace as an AWS Devops Engineer from October 2016 to November 2019. Brandon also served as an AWS Consultant at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago from September 2015 to April 2016. Before that, at Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company), they held the position of Sr. Software Specialist where they led various projects involving building and optimizing datacenters and implementing monitoring systems. Brandon also worked as a Virtualization Specialist at Advanced Technology Services from June 2011 to February 2015, where they were involved in global implementations and infrastructure redesigns for Motorola Mobility.

Brandon Rizzo has a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from National Louis University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Harper College, where they attended from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Brandon has obtained several certifications. Brandon is an AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, all from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in 2016 and 2019. Brandon is also a VCP6-DCV (VMware Certified Professional 6 – Datacenter Virtualization) from VMware, obtained in 2015. Furthermore, they hold certifications from Citrix, including Citrix Certified Associate - Networking, Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization, and Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer for Virtualization, achieved in 2014 and 2013.
